Release 3 is Officially Live!

August 3, 2020

The Student Information System (SIS) Modernization Project is excited to share that Release 3 is officially live!

For the first time in this release, staff outside of the SIS Project team will begin using Campus Solutions. Release 3 functionality primarily impacted the Office of Admissions as well as Registrar’s Office staff embedded on the Project.

The following functionality in Campus Solutions was introduced for the Office of Admissions (OA):

  • Assign and update required and supplemental checklist items for pending applications
  • Evaluate and record final decisions (implemented on Aug. 17)
  • Produce personalized letters, emails, and messages for applicants

End-user education for OA processing staff was completed late July, with counselors and college partners beginning training later in August.

Release 3 also included additional data conversions and functionality for the Registrar’s Office:

  • Conversion of existing holds, student groups, athletic participation and FERPA restrictions
  • Maintenance functionality for the schedule of classes
  • Transfer articulation rules mapping for new undergraduate students

To accomplish this tremendous task, the Project team converted:

  • 141K Athletic participation records
  • 42K FERPA records
  • 922K Student Groups
  • 105K Service Indicators
  • 2.2M Schedule of Class records
  • 97K Workcopy records
  • 2M Transfer Credit Rules
